2. Extend Virtual Disk and Setup a Hot Spare Disk

     2-1. Extend the virtual disk by adding a new physical disk

Right click on the "StoragePool1", select "Add Physical Disk..."

Sort the "Chassis" column, select the 10.0GB disk which chassis is at port:5, then click "OK"

The StoragePool1 has become 37.0GB. Right click "Pool1VD01" (20.0GB), select "Extend Virtual Disk..."

Set the size as "33" GB

So the Virtual disk "Pool1VD01" has extended to 33GB

Click "Dicks" at the left panel. Right click on the volume "P", select "Extend Volume"

Set the volume size to "32.9" GB

So the volume "P" has extended to 32.9 GB

Click the "Volumes" at the left panel, make sure the p drive's capacity and free space is correct

Double check by opening the file explorer, the P drive is available to use

2-2. Setup a Hot Spare Disk for the StoragePool1

Right click on the "StoragePool1", select "Add Physical Disk...". The capacity of StoragePool1 now is 37.0GB

Select the 30.0 GB hard drive whose chassis is port:6.
Select "Hot Spare" from the "Allocation" dropdown list, then click "OK"

The capacity of StoragePool1 has extended to 66.3 GB
